  • • Classes are 60 minutes unless otherwise specified.
    • Advance registrations are recommended.
    • Classes will be pro-rated for students joining late during any session, except for choreography classes.
    • Make-up class policy: Students can make up a class by attending any of the other classes (age and genre permitting) during a session. No separate make-up classes will be conducted for
  • students missing class. If Surati cancels a class, a make-up class will be conducted in consultation with all students.
    • Class tuition / fee is non refundable and must be paid by the first day of class regardless of attendance.
    • Annual registration fee: $30. One registration fee for siblings registering at the same time. Else $15 per additional child.
    • Students participating in annual recitals/Surati events will need to attend additional scheduled rehearsals and buy their own costumes. Recital fees may apply in addition to any costume costs for students taking part in performances.
    • Average costume costs for contemporary/semi-classical/folk dance: $40-$45, Jewellery:$15
    • Average costume costs for classical costumes and jewellery: $125-$175
    • Vocal students would need to wear Surati kurtas/shirts during performances. Average cost: $15-$20
